Sofia Open 2016 champion Roberto Bautista Agut withdrew just before the quarterfinals at this year of the tournament edition. The Spaniard announced that the reason is an illness.
His withdrawer gave a chance to Marton Fucsovics who moves straight to the semifinals. For a place in the final, the Hungarian will face Matteo Berrettini or Fernando Verdasco.
The last match today is the quarterfinal between 7th seed Gael Manfils and second seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.
