Lucky loser Caruso enters main draw instead of Kukushkin
Marius Copil secured his first ATP win in 2018. At DIEMA XTRA Sofia Open the Romanian defeated 5th seeded Robin Haase 7:6 (5), 6:4 in 75 minutes on the court. Copil impressed with stable first serve and made total 12 aces. He did not face a single break point and let Haase only 7 points when serving.
Next Copil will play Blaz Kavcic. The Slovenian won Laslo Djere (SRB) 6:4, 6:4 in 78 minutes.
Meanwhile Mikhail Kukushkin’s withdrew due to illness. He was replaced in the draw by LL Salvatore Caruso.
