The Belgian duo Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen chase their third ATP Tour title of the season as the top seeds in Sofia.
Gille and Vliegen, currently ranked #12, will start their first visit in Sofia facing Ariel Behar (Uruguay) and Adam Pavlasek (Czechia).
Despite narrowly missing out on a Nitto ATP Finals spot, second seeds Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow have also enjoyed a stellar year, lifting four ATP 250 titles together. They will try to finish the season in high note starting in Sofia against Andrey Golubev (Kazakhstan) and Denys Molchanov (Ukraine).
Two former champions will seek more glory in Bulgaria.
The winner of the first Sofia Open Doubles Trophy Matwe Middelkoop (Netherlands) and his partner Simone Bolelli (Italy) will try to stop the local heroes Alexander Donski and Alexander Lazarov.
Nikola Mectic, two-times finalist – in 2018 and 2019, and champion in 2019, is coming back again, this time with Julian Cash (Great Britain). They will start their run against Nikola Cacic (SRB) and experienced Philipp Oswald (Austria).
