Marton Fucsovics is the first to reach the final at Sofia Open 2019. The Hungarian stopped the young Matteo Berrettini (ITA) 5:7, 7:5, 6:3.
On Sunday Fucsovics, who celebrated his 27th birthday yesterday, will play his second career ATP final. The first was last year in Geneva where he captured his maiden ATP title (d. Gojowczyk). He will face for the title in Sofia Gael Monfils of Daniil Medvedev.
It was second career semifinal for Berrettini too. On the road, he overcame Denis Istomin, top seed Karen Khachanov and Fernando Verdasco.
