Gabriel Donev left Sofia Open 2019 early after being defeated in the first qualification round. Donev lost to the experienced Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky 1:6, 2:6 in just 48 minutes.
Tomorrow Stakhovsky will play for a place in the main draw against Daniel Brands. The German won to Kamil Majchrzak (POL) 6:4, 7:5.
Donev played with a wild card in the qualifiers after winning the Bulgarian indoor champion three days ago.
