Grigor Dimitrov: I am living my dream!

The Bulgarian looks at Grand Slam’s titles

“I am living my dream. I win tournaments, I am playing good tennis. I am in the middle of my career and I have set a lot of goals that I want to achieve.” That said Grigor Dimitrov at his first press conference before his debut at Garanti Koza Sofia Open.

“I feel physically and mentally well. Honestly, I was surprised with myself, especially – what I did in Brisbane. It was my first tournament for the year and I didn’t know if I was prepared well. I played great games in Australia. I really wanted very much to play against Federer, it could be a dream came true.

After I lost the match with Rafa, I played this game in my head hundred times. I wanted to find what I could do better, what mistakes I did. After some days I understood that I did everything I could. Rafa told me at the net to go on this way and that if I play the same, I will win Grand Slam title for sure.”

The press conference gathered tenths of Bulgarian journalists and Medias. Asked about his dreams Dimitrov said: “Since I was a kid my dream is to win a Grand Slam title. And why not – to become Number 1 in the world. I think it is possible. I just have to be consistent.”
