Filip Krajinovic is the fourth player who reached Sofia Open 2021 semi-finals.
World No. 37 and fifth seed Filip Krajinovic defeated Polish lucky loser Kamil Majchrzak 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.
Krajinovic has reached six quarter-finals in 2021, but this is just the second time that he has pushed on to the semi-finals.
“Jannik is an unbelievable player. I have nothing to lose,” Krajinovic said. “I will come here tomorrow and play free.”
He will face the top-seed and last year champion here Jannik Sinner in a battle for the final in Sofia.
