Sofia Open wishes to clarify any misgivings of information that is currently being circulated in the media.
As per the last 2023 ATP calendar released, Davis Cup is placed against Sofia Open in 2023.
This poses an issue for Sofia Open since the Bulgarian Davis Cup team will be competing in the Davis Cup tie against New Zealand in February 2023.
In this context, there is a current restructuring of the calendar taking place whereby ATP are in discussions with the Sofia Open partners
stakeholders – Brandplus and BTF.
We will officially inform the public of the decision and future of Sofia Open once this information is available to disclose and share with everyone.
