The qualifying round draw to be announced the same day
The Official Ceremony 2018 DIEMA XTRA Sofia Open draw will be held on February 3, Saturday, at 15:00 in the Press Conference Room in Arena Armeec.
21 players applied for the main draw up to their ranking. Three Bulgarian players were awarded places in the main draw and the rest 4 places are for players coming after qualifiers.
The players that applied for participation at 2018 DIEMA XTRA Sofia Open are as follow: Grigor Dimitrov (Bulgaria); Gilles Muller (Luxembourg); Adrian Mannarino (France); Philipp Kohlschreiber (Germany); Filip Krajinovic (Serbia); Mikhail Youzhny (Russia); Viktor Troicki (Serbia); Robin Haase (Netherlands); Andreas Seppi (Italy); Denis Istomin (Uzbekistan); Joao Sousa (Portugal); Evgeny Donskoy (Russia); Mikhail Kukushkin (Kazakhstan); Matthew Ebden (Australia); Radu Albot (Moldova); Laslo Djere (Serbia); Maximilian Marterer (Germany); Lukas Lacko (Slovakia); Marius Copil (Romania); Blaz Kavic (Slovenia); Melek Jaziri (Tunisia).
The three Bulgarians that has been awarded are Dimitar Kuzmanov, Alexander Donski and Adrian Andreev.
On Saturday it will be announced the draw for the qualifying round with the presence of two other local prodigies – Aleksander Lazarov and Aleks Lazov.
