The top-seeds Marcin Matkowski (POL)/Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi (PAK) fell behind early at DIEMA XTRA Sofia Open. They lost their first round match against Romain Arnedo (MON)/Tristan-Samuel Weissborn (AUT) 6:7, 6:1, 8:10 in a battle on Court 1 in Sofia.
The winners will play next with Scott Lipsky (USA)/Divij Sharan (IND), who yesterday won against Bulgarians Dimitar Kuzmanow/Vasko Mladenov.
There will be no Bulgarians in the draw any longer after the last local duo -Aleksander Lazarov/Aleksander Donski (at the picture) were upset by Jamie Cerrerani (USA)/Sander Gille 3:6, 4:6 in 72 inutes.
Cerretany/Gille will have a tough second round meeting third seeds Nicholas Monroe (USA)/ John Patrick Smith (AUS).
