Less than two weeks before the start of the biggest tennis event in Bulgaria – ATP250 Sofia Open 2019, the ambassadors team of the tournament included two new stars. Tsvetana Pironkowa and Yordan Yovchev announced today their support of the event and showed their impatience to see the battles of the bunch of contemporary tennis stars at “Arena Armeec” between 3rd and 10th of February.
The recent Bulgarian top-tennis player Tsvetana Pironkowa was glad with the chance to be close and share the emotions of the big men tournament in Sofia. She didn’t hide that in excited to support again the Bulgarian prodigies against the biggest World Tour stars.
The four time Olympics medalist Yordan Yovchev once again expressed his love to the tennis game, which is the favorite sport to his son. “For me tennis is a beautiful sport that involves a great spectrum of qualities – great intellect, creativity, faith, positive thinking, tactics, psychology strength and wish for winning. Tennis creates a lot of emotions, but also – possibilities to start with it in an older age. Like me”, Yovchev said.
The Sofia Open 2019 ambassador team now includes Tsvetana Pironkowa, Yordan Yovchev, the Bulgarian ational rhythmic gymnastics team, the legendary tennis coach Toni Nadal, the actors Teodora Duhovnikova and Yulian Vergov, along with the singer Magi Djanavarova and the tennis expert Rachel Stuhlmann. New stars will be announced soon.
